Ted Ziemer is a partner in the firm concentrating his practice on Healthcare Law, Estate Planning & Probate, Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Municipal Law. Since 2005, he has served as the Attorney for the Board of Commissioners of Vanderburgh County.
Ted received his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University in 1956 and his law degree from Indiana University in 1962. Ted is a member of the Indiana Bar Association, having served on the Board of Managers and House of Delegates as well as Chairman of the Young Lawyers Section from 1970–1972. Ted is also a member of the Evansville and American Bar Associations.
Ted is currently a member of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation Board, on which he served as Chairman from 1983–2003. The Governor appointed him as Trustee of the University of Southern Indiana for a four-year term commencing July 1, 2007. He was reappointed to a second 4-year term in 2011 and is currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees. He is also a life member and past Chairman of both the Board of Trustees of the University of Southern Indiana Foundation and the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Southwestern Indiana. In addition, Ted is a member of the Board of Directors of Southwest Indiana Public Broadcasting, Inc., Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Evansville Museum of Arts & Sciences, Inc. and the United Way of Southwestern Indiana, Inc.
